STATE OF THE ART RESEARCH IN FISHERIES, FORESTRY, AND CLIMATE
Juneau’s thriving ecology makes it an ideal place for state of the art research in fisheries, forestry, and climate. The city is home to many research facilities including the University of Alaska Southeast’s Fisheries Technology Program, the US Forest Service’s Pacific Northwest research Station, and NOAA’s Auke Bay Laboratories.
